The FATE & Society Reading Group co-organized a workshop for Responsible AI Week at Mila on October 15 and 16 2024: (Re)Defining Responsible AI, focusing on the current challenges of responsible AI. The event featured three speakers from industry and civil society, representing computer science, social science, and AI governance, who shared their insights on the topic. Additionally, we held roundtable discussions exploring what it truly means to develop technologies responsibly.
